The title meant of a letting go of the past to embrace the future. This works more effectively if lets say, one's past is full of mistakes and problems.
I chose frozen as the song seemed to sound icy..

Mhmm.. Disregarding the essence Kazmo, Blackhole12, and wtflolnoob for the technical problems with this song. I believe this probably was sweat and tears putting this together. I also believe that this is still a song, all in all. A great song.
Like my only tiny complaint is along with Kazmo stated. ''EQ'ing''. I think I like the
simple side of this song. sometimes I don't like my music complex, and full fo effects. I just wnat to listen to ''solemn'' effects, and casual ride of melody. It's amazing. 5/5 10/10. !

[Shattered Sky]

This is really awesome!

1:08 - the entire song is my favorite part. I really enjoyed this piece man, you did a great job at this. It sets the mood. I don't think ti reminded me of a shattered sky though. It reminded me of dark caves, sinister like monsters, darkness, but not a broken sky. IMO. Still, though this was AWESOME. Great job man! 5/5 10/10.

Thanks for the great score and review, ZoicPoet! I'm so happy that even my old tracks like this have such a good impression on listeners. This was actually the second part of my Sky Palace series, this one being the ruin of Sky Palace later revealing the Sky Garden. Anyway, it was a part of a really old musical series I started with the first called Sky Palace and the second being this piece and the third called Lost in a Sky Garden and then the finale New Dawn. I don't think I'll re-upload any of the other tracks on here seeing how unnoticed they were. It'd just be a waste of space. Again, thank you!

It's pretty nice. Although..

1. The bells need to be leveled out where it doesn't rape the eardrums. I like how you layed them in a battle like formation though.

2. I believe your percussion side of this song could be positioned in a rather more less bland way. You definately have a great piece here, but I feel you rushed this piece a bit. IMO. Like, it's a great sequence of sounds, but the sounds you used, and how you allocated them I couldn't really grasp anything from it.

3. So can you make this song BADASS? ( know you can) ^^. I here alot of spots you can slip a heavy bass pad, or a dissonance pad. I here alot of spots you could play a background bell for the main bell lead. Alternating the percussion positions would really turn this song into some dark castle, dungeon music. ^-^ Add some screams, and spooky sounds even. I believe this is jsut a blueprint to what you really can do. I hope I helped. ^^ 5/5 10/10. I can definately here what you are going for, now put these pieces together, and I believe you got a nice halloween based song.

This is by far one of the best trance songs I have ever heard. WOW! This is seriously amazing! Some day I will make good trance music. I'm still in my larva stages. Lol. As EternalXIII said. That same part caught my most attention, because I felt like you were trying to pull me in with that part. It's a GREAT ear trap, as I call it.
This song overlal is PERFECT. UNDEFINABLE. UNPREDICTABLE. UNCHANGEABLE. UNSTEALABLE. I dare someone to try to take this as their own. XD! 5/5 10/10. Awesome song. Reminds me of blizzards and tundras on my side of perspective.

Whether something is trance is very subjective. Different people think differently..

Try listening to an internet radio station that plays exclusively trance music like trance.fm
Good way to find out styles of trance music.

Remember that trance is a very big genre, and there are many sub genres. You're free to decide what you want to make.

Oh, and listen to some of the gems on newgrounds. Some popular songs are Paradise on E, Chaoz Fantasy..

And find your favourite artists. The top 5 and top 30 charts at the audio portal are a great way to start.

This is spectacular, it does have a tad bit of an EQ problem, but I am not bothered by it. I loved it. The intro kicks off really well, the mid was incredible, then the last part gives us that cherry ontop. 5/5 10/10. Great job. I will be looking out for your future works. Goodluck to you.

It is cool .. Although..

You really could of fired this remix up. I could feel that energy building up whilst listening to it. I really wish you did, actually I think you should. Before this halloween contest is over. I believe you should give it a shot. It's good, but not ZOMG WHOA. You could pull it off though, if you ''try''. 5/5 10/10.

I don't give low scores unless something is seriously out of tune, something making my ears bleed, etc. Scores on Newgrounds are pretty straight forward :/.
